Saint Peter's Church's chapel seen from an unusual view. I love this photo because rather than celebrating the catholic gloriousness, this perspective makes the church look like a monumental architecture lost in time, in a post-apocalyptic age in which trees and plants claimed back all the lands stealed by humankind.

I was walking under the stunning colonnade that surrounds the square right in front of St. Peter's Church when I suddendly felt observed. Looking through all the huge columns, I realized I was perfectly aligned with the look of a marble statue several meters away from me.

One of the brightest memories regarding my trips to the Eternal City are without a doubt the flights of birds. It's just incredible how all of a sudden the Roman sky can find itself filled with clouds of singing birds.
